C&B Mutual Aid are providing support through a delivery Food Bank and Hot Meal Delivery.

The Caledonian/Barnsbury Mutual Aid Group is setting up a food bank to help those in our ward. This will be a delivery-only food bank. We do our best to delivery the food between 2-7pm on Thursdays.

HOT MEAL DELIVERY
Islington Mutual Aid are offering a regular free food delivery scheme to people in need in the Islington area.
Details:
The scheme will run for an initial period of 4-6 weeks. Meals will be delivered by volunteers between 4 pm and 6 pm on Monday and Thursday of each week (starting Thursday 7th May). Please check that recipients are available at these times to receive delivery. Each delivery will contain food for 3 meals (so signing up to 2 deliveries provide one hot lunch/evening meal 6 days per week). The food will be varied and cuisine will be mainly Indian/Asian.
We have the capacity to provide for 30 people to receive 6 meals a week at this stage.
The food will be chilled and will contain instructions to re-heat. Ideally recipients would have access to a microwave.
Please fill in the attached form for each household. It is important that recipients confirm whether they have allergies/other dietary requirements.
Filling out this form is not a guarantee of a spot - you are registering your interest. We will get in touch if we need further information or to confirm your spot on the scheme.
